Moments to remember instead of those new years resolutions no one ever keeps.

Happy New Year everyone! All of a sudden it's 2014. 2013, looks like that was yesterday (alright yes it was 3 days ago). My FB newsfeed is full of posts about new years resolution, which no one ever keeps, at least not till the end of the year. I'm actually one of them, thats why I stop making resolutions for myself. Instead, I came across an awesome idea in the beginning of 2013. I think I saw it on Pinterest, and I loved it!

The idea is to take a jar or something else u can use, and every time u experience something great, funny, awesome, heartwarming or memorable, write it down on a piece of paper, fold it and put it in the jar. Keep doing this the entire year and when the end of the year comes, open the jar and read the notes. It will remind you of the special moments (which you probably already forgot about) in the past year and I guarantee it will put a smile on your face :). 

Tip: if your not anywhere near your jar, write your note in your phone (everyone has a smartphone these days xD) so you won't forget it and when you have time, then write your notes down and put them in the jar. 

Maybe even more fun, do it together with your girlfriends and when the end of the year comes, meet up and open your jars together. Share your memorable moments, your stories with each other, maybe one of them was with them ;).

This was my "memories of 2013 jar". I did manage to fill it up, which I did not expect when I started this project xD.

I won't put all of my notes on my blog, too many and some I want to enjoy myself ;)

This was the first time in my life that I was a bridesmaid at someone's wedding (my cousin's) and I loved it! And this your I'll be a bridesmaid again at my other cousin's wedding :) Note for 2014 :p

Made me smile, reading all those notes. It also made me feel like, even though I didn't do a lot in 2013, I still have experienced some fun things in the past year :)
